The Lakelands fundraising team are on hand to support you and offer advice, whether you want to organise a fundraising event, set yourself a challenge or if you just want to learn more about the hospice we are here to help and support you.

Why Choose Lakelands

At Lakelands Hospice we are committed to being here, ready to care for local people living with cancer, heart failure, other life limiting illnesses or those experiencing bereavement.

Lakelands does not receive any NHS or Government funding and every penny of your money raised will contribute towards the costs required to provide these vital services to those in need in our local community.

Your fundraising will help pay for these typical services listed below that we provide to our patients at no cost to themselves or their family.

  • £40 – One hour of 1:1 Counselling Session
  • £43 – One day per person to attend day hospice
  • £106 – One Bereavement Group Session
  • £250 – A night of 1:1 Hospice at Home nursing care.

Alternative Support Services

Giving a gift in celebration is a positive and unique way of celebrating a special occasion while supporting Lakelands Hospice and making a difference to other peoples lives in our community.

JustGiving Page

Supporters often like to set up a JustGiving page to mark their special occasion and send links to friends & family requesting donations instead of birthday or anniversary gifts. Friends & Family will be able to donate securely with their debit / credit cards and leave a personal message.

Easy Funding APP

Easy fundraising is a free and simple way to raise money for our charity through everyday online shopping. When supporters shop with over 8,000 well-known retailers via the easy fundraising website or app, the retailer donates a small percentage of the purchase to us at no extra cost to the shopper.

It is an easy way to turn everyday spending on things like groceries, gifts, holidays, and insurance into valuable funds that help support our work. Every purchase makes a difference!
